BIOGEAS Registry

Objective

To create a multicenter national registry of patients with SAD non-responsive to conventional therapies and treated with biological agents (off-label use).

Metodology

• At inclusion, patient data are computerized in a standardized form.
• The coordinators of each of the participating centers will e-mail admission sheets and consent forms to the Coordination Center.
• An inter-relational database that uses SPSS 12.0 for Windows will be created in the Coordination Center for the implementation and statistical analysis of data.

The BIOGEAS project has been proposed by the Ethics Committee of Clinical Investigation (CEIC) of the Coordinating Center (Hospital Clinic of Barcelona). In line with the current Spanish legislation, patients’ personal data included in the Registry and current regulations on the use of off-label medications are protected at all times.
